The MORE Project (Mom’s Offering Recovery Experience) provides FREE peer support services that are specifically tailored for moms in recovery living in Ocean County, staffed by moms in long-term recovery who understand the unique challenges & complexities of both motherhood & recovery.
The MORE Project is for Moms in any phase of motherhood (from being pregnant, to toddlers, to school-aged kids, to having adult children) and in any stage of recovery (precontemplation, contemplation, preparation, action, maintenance, or relapse).
By promoting acceptance, understanding, & empowerment, The MORE Project offers a supportive, safe, non-judgmental space where moms can connect on topics such as managing stress, rebuilding family dynamics, balancing parenting & recovery, navigating & accessing resources like housing and childcare, and much more, all while promoting long-term recovery and also strengthening family stability.
- One-on-One Peer Support
Moms can connect with trained peers who understand their experiences and provide empathetic guidance. - Group Peer Support
Participate in group sessions where moms can share their stories, learn from one another, and find solidarity. - Workshops
Engage in workshops that address relevant topics, coping strategies, and self-care. - Training
Equip moms with tools and knowledge to navigate recovery while balancing their maternal responsibilities. - Short-term Transportation
Assistance helps by removing a barrier to accessing critical services and rebuilding their lives.
Encouragement. Must be 18 yrs + and live in Ocean County. No Charge, No Insurance, No Judgment.
