CLCL Foundation seeks to provide a haven of support and resources for at-risk youth and the community at large. Its core services include the Community Care Connection, a “Warm Line”, donation referral service that debuts Saturday, March 1st! CLCL also provides Free Family Fun Night events across Ocean and Monmouth County, with plans for more future Community Groups. CLCL's Home Share Solutions Pilot Program is ready to launch and is seeking support and funding. This program aims to address and prevent young adult (ages 18-24) homelessness. Lastly, CLCL has demonstrated its ability to secure the Runaway and Youth Homelessness Grant from the Federal Youth Services Bureau. But the process is more cumbersome than the time limit could allow. CLCL still seeks to restore an on-site temporary youth shelter to provide Safe Haven. Dubbed the Tree House Program, it features 3 Pilot Initiatives. All services will offer evidence-based, trauma-informed triage services, in a judgement free, safe, and nurturing environment.
Our mission is to empower youth and families in crisis, bridging the gap to vital resources and uplifting our diverse community through genuine partnerships and coalition building. We strive to foster growth, resilience, and a sense of belonging for youth and families before, during, and after crisis.
CLCL Foundation believes in the transformative power of love and celebration of life. We envision helping every teen in Monmouth and Ocean Counties feel safe, supported and included in their communities. This vision aims to empower every individual we serve to lead fulfilling lives and contribute positively to the community which helped serve them. Our vision is to prevent runaway and youth homelessness, trafficking, family crisis and child maltreatment.
Our "Warm Line" service, the Community Care Connection (CCC), will provide bi-County access to referral service to assist in the location of donation sites and procurement of goods to referred members of the community. Our Free Family Fun Nights (FFFN) will provide opportunities for families to come together, make positive shared memories, improve communication skills and cohesion within the family. These skills provide resiliency, which acts as buffers during times of stress or crisis. CLCL's Home Share Solutions Program (HSSP) is ready to begin its implementation stage but requires additional funding to secure the Pilots initiation. This program will work in collaboration with community partners to provide Meet & Greet Activities, Independent Living Skills, Mental Health Services, established Lease Agreements, and Financial Literacy Programs.
CLCL Foundation's founding purpose, the restoration of Safe Haven access for runaway and homeless youth (RHY) is more cumbersome to establish. The on-site emergency crisis sheltering services program designed for youth aged 10 to 19 will take a bigger financial investment than planned. Still, CLCL demonstrated their ability to secure the Runaway and Youth Homelessness Grant from the Federal Youth Services Bureau. But the process is more cumbersome than the time limit could allow. CLCL still seeks to restore an on-site temporary youth shelter to provide Safe Haven. The Tree House Program features 3 Pilot Initiatives to improved future, long-term outcomes among vulnerable and at-risk youth populations. All services will offer evidence-based, trauma-informed triage services, in a judgement free, safe, and nurturing environment.
