Performing Arts Academy (PAA) has a variety of theatre classes by semester in the areas of acting, singing, dance, storytelling, auditioning, and Internship practicum studies. All of our classes offer a suggested level of experience, as well as an age range. There is a class for everyone to explore, no matter how experienced or inexperienced.
SUMMER 2026 PERFORMING ARTS ACADEMY
Payment & Discounts: Payment is due in full at time of reservation. We offer a multiple enrollment discount of 10% by household (i.e. 2 students taking 1 class, or 1 student taking 2 classes). Discount offers cannot be combined.
Waiting List: If a class that you wish to enroll in is full, please email chris@algonquinarts.org to be added to our waiting list. We will use this list to contact you if 1) Space opens in your desired session 2) We create an additional session to increase our capacity.
Financial Assistance: Please do not let cost be a barrier to your child's participation. We have payment plans and other financial assistance available.
General Policies: No refunds after the first day of class. Classes are subject to minimum enrollment. In the rare case that a class is canceled, we will contact families at least 72-hours before the first class date and issue a refund immediately.
INTRO TO THEATRE (Grades: K-1st)

Want to try theatre? This is a great introductory course to get students performing on the stage! The class provides a broad introduction to theatre through age-appropriate games, stories, songs, and movement. This class is for students who just completed or will be entering Kindergarten in the fall.
MUSICAL THEATRE AM (Grades: K-3rd)
9:00am-12:00pm | July 6-July 17 (Mondays-Fridays)
Cost: $400
When you can’t speak anymore, you sing; when you can’t sing anymore, you dance! This is an introductory level class that will include singing, dancing and acting and conclude with a stage presentation of in-class work.

Multiple Enrollment Discount: Families purchasing more than one tuition (multiple students and/or multiple sessions) will receive a 10% discount. This offer applies when purchasing an AM & PM session in the same transaction to make a full day. Note: Discounts are not available for programs registered at Manasquan Recreation.
