Hackensack Meridian Hospice (HM Hospice) offers compassionate health care to those experiencing a life-limiting illness to ensure that they may live as fully and comfortably as possible. HM Hospice is a  member of the Hackensack Meridian Health network, a leading not-for-profit health care organization in NJ.

HM Hospice offers comforting, compassionate end-of-life care in a variety of care settings. Hospice Volunteers are a member of the hospice team which seeks to meet the needs of individuals and families affected by a life-limiting illness. Hospice Volunteer opportunities include:

Direct Patient Volunteers provide companionship, emotional support, and caregiver relief. Administrative Volunteers assist with clerical duties. Grief Buddies provide 1-to-1 peer support to a bereaved person who has recently experienced the loss of a loved one. Remembrance Volunteers create knitted/crocheted blankets or sew Memory Bears.
