Ocean County's 2023 Point in Time County Summary
Commissioned by the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency, New Jersey's annual Point-in-Time (PIT) Count of the Homeless provides a statewide snapshot and important demographic insights on individuals and families experiencing homelessness, with the goal of allocating housing resources and services to prevent and end homelessness.
The 2023 Point in Time Count shows that Ocean County experienced a 4% increase in homelessness. 434 People were experiencing homelessness in Ocean County on January 24, 2023. Check out the entire summary to view differing demographics and concerns facing the homeless population.
