Bright Harbor Healthcare is leading the Ocean County Traumatic Loss Coalition for Youth Program (TLC) operated by Rutgers University Behavioral Healthcare; TLC is a dedicated program focused on suicide prevention and trauma response assistance for schools and youth organizations.
We assist Ocean County youth participants (ages 16-24) in gaining knowledge, skills, training, and individual assistance in finding, gaining, and retaining employment or post-secondary education. Location: Toms River & Manahawkin offices, also offering virtual/hybrid options.
EMBRACE offers a secure and supportive environment where parents, children, adolescents, young adults, and their families can openly share their experiences following a loss. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Ocean County recruits, trains, supports and supervises community volunteers that advocate for children who have been removed from their home due to neglect or abuse.

The Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CBVI) promotes and provides services in the areas of education, employment, independence and eye health for persons who are blind or visually impaired, their families and the community.
The School Based Youth Services Programs address the social and health needs of teens in a comprehensive “one-stop shopping non-stigmatized manner,” in their school setting in order to promote healthy youth development.
