The hotline - NJHOPELINE (855-654-6735) - operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and serves as a backup to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline network during times of excess call volume or after the Lifeline Crisis Centers' operating hours.

Medicaid provides health insurance to parents/caretakers and dependant children, pregnant women, and people who are aged, blind or disabled. These programs pay for hospital services, doctor visits, prescriptions, nursing home care and other healthcare needs, depending on what program a person is eligible for.

NJ National Guard Family Programs

For Military families – NJ National Guard Family Programs – 1-888-859-0352 – assists in keeping soldiers and their families aware of a number of benefits, youth programs, support organizations and networks available to them. The helpline features peer counseling, clinical assessments, and assistance to family members. The helpline provides New Jersey Veterans and their families with access to a comprehensive support network of mental health professionals who specialize in issues specific to Veterans returning to civilian life.

COMPASS is a local program from Preferred Behavioral Health Group serving Ocean and Monmouth Counties under the umbrella of New Jersey Statewide Student Support Services (NJ4S). NJ4S is a new statewide initiative from the New Jersey Department of Children and Families (DCF), and was designed to enhance access for students to prevention and mental health screening services.
