Special Olympics Team Seeks Participants In Berkeley

The skills development team, open to all children with special needs between 8- and 14-years-old, will focus on basketball this winter.

BERKELEY, NJ — Children with special needs can make friends and get moving with a Special Olympics New Jersey team meeting this winter.

The team is for skills development and is open to all children ages 8- to 14-years-old. It will meet every Monday beginning Jan. 8 and running through March 25 at the CBW Elementary School gym from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Those who wish to participate can email shannacermak@gmail.com with their child's name and age as well as fill out the forms here.
