Rhythm Works Special Needs Dance Program

We take pride in teaching the Art of dance in many different genres through our teachers who love dance and love bringing their talents to both our recreational students as well as our Competitive Team. We offer classes from pre-school through adult. Our Director, Alicia Ceraldi has twin boys with Autism, one of her sons is non-verbal. She always felt there is a lack of opportunity for this community to experience the benefits of dance. We set out to learn as much as we could so we could offer purposeful dance classes that would benefit the students far outside the studio and we wanted to expand our program for people with special needs and individual learning differences.

Through exciting movement and rhythm lessons, children will work on:

  • Gross/Fine motor skills
  • Strength & flexibility
  • Social skills
  • Motor planning
  • Body control & awareness
  • Focus
  • Coordination
  • Memory & recall skills
  • Receptive/expressive language and much, much more!

Dance is a powerful modality that offers an opportunity to build social, emotional, cognitive, and motor skills. Plus, it’s tons of fun!

We offer classes for ages pre-school-adult. Parent, therapist, or sibling highly encouraged to participate as an assistive buddy for FREE!
