Adolescent & Youth Clinical Training for Suicide Prevention: Screening & Management for Outpatient Providers training presented by DCF and SPTS. Ten sessions are available for Spring 2023 throughout NJ. 8:30 AM registration, training is 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM at various dates/locations.
Northern NJ: 2/24 (virtual), 3/13 (in person) & 5/10 (in person) Central NJ: 2/24 (virtual), 3/15 (in person) & 5/11 (in person)Southern NJ: 2/27 (virtual), 3/16 (in person), 4/4 (in person) & 5/12 (in person)
Designed for outpatient providers who see youth under age of 18. Training is relevant for licensed professionals with any level experience. Training topics include:- understanding suicide
- gathering information
- formulating risk & clinical screening pathway
- planning & responding: stabilizing the crisis
