Tom Brown Jr.'s Tracker School

Tom Brown Jr., America's most renowned tracker and wilderness survival expert, has devoted his life to educating people in the skills of Tracking, Wilderness Awareness and Survival.

The Tracker School was founded in 1978 by Tom Brown Jr, Americas most renowned Tracker, and Wilderness Survival expert. Based on the teachings of Stalking Wolf, the Apache elder from whom Tom began teaching, when he was seven years old, the school has expanded to include over 75 classes, divided into eight course tracks, of the teachings that Grandfather passed to Tom.

The Children of the Earth Foundation (COTEF) is a non-profit foundation that Tom started in 1999 to pass along the teachings of Stalking Wolf to children. COTEF runs classes and camps throughout the year that teach the same types of skills that Tom teaches in Tracker classes, but in a more experiential format designed especially for those under 18. You can learn more about COTEF programs, and sign up for their classes, on their website at [http://www.cotef.org] or by calling their office at (609) 971-1799.
