Papa Ganache Project, LLC Strengths Development Program (PGP)

PGP, LLC combines alternative & traditional psychotherapeutic supports using our vegan bakery as a backdrop for services.

Truly a recipe for success!

Our programs combine traditional psychotherapeutic support & alternative treatment using our vegan bakery as a backdrop for services. We engage youth in hands on, real life experiences, with a focus on strengthening & developing skills to overcome behavioral, emotional, developmental (ADHD, high functioning ASD), substance use challenges. We provide a variety of supportive behavioral & emotional health services, including in-office and in-home psychotherapy, behavioral assistance, mentoring, parent mentoring, & school clinical consultation. Providers meet our youth & families in flexible settings: in their homes, communities, schools, Papa Ganache vegan bakery, & our office.

Truly a recipe for success!

Services are accessible through private pay and referral through PerformCare/NJ CSOC

Our programs extend beyond the seemingly simple act of baking a cupcake.  PGP therapeutic sessions focus on creating a safe & comfortable treatment setting where youth can strengthen and develop skills to overcome their emotional and behavioral challenges.
Our staff focus on the unique needs of each child:

  • Socialization
  • Self-esteem
  • Positive self-concept
  • Anxiety and stress management
  • Feelings of hopelessness
  • Guilt or shame, fear of change
  • Lack of motivation
  • Conflict resolution
  • Healthy decision making
  • Judgment
  • Self-regulation
  • Self-monitoring
  • Reaching age-appropriate goals
  • Improving peer, family, and community communications
  • Resilience and hope

PGP promotes a high degree of interactive, open and supportive participation teaching life’s rules, cemented by mentoring relationships between youth & staff. We engage frustrated, bored and struggling youth in activities that propel use of imagination and natural creativity. PGP builds on passions and interests to foster discussion and personal expression, resulting in participants contributing, learning, and experiencing success. We catch kids “doing good things,” using praise and endorsement to recognize positive gains.
