National Autism Association Big Red Safety Box

The National Autism Association is committed to those with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who may be prone to wandering off or eloping from a safe environment, and may be unable to recognize danger and/or stay safe.

NAMI Family-to-Family Education Program

NAMI- This program is a free, 12-week course for family caregivers of individuals with severe mental illnesses. The course is taught by trained family members. All instruction and course materials are free to class participants. This program significantly improves a family’s ability to cope with an ill relative’s mental disorder.

ARCH- Access to Reproductive Care and HIV Services

ARCH nurses counsel about reproductive health and reducing HIV transmission, conduct pregnancy and STD testing, offer adult vaccines, teach safer injection practices, provide wound care consultations and arrange referrals for preconception, antenatal and HIV specialty care.

Foster Care to Success

In many states, foster youth must leave the social services system (“age out”) when they turn 18 or graduate from high school. But few young people are capable of starting adulthood on their own at the age of 18; imagine starting out as a foster child with no family and no guardian to help you establish an independent life.

Funding for these programs is provided in part through the Recreational Opportunities for Individuals with Disabilities Grant from NJ Department of Community Affairs .   The purpose of this grant is to provide funding for individualized, inclusive recreational programming for individuals with  disabilities.

TCNJ Collegiate Recovery Program

The College of New Jersey’s Collegiate Recovery Program (CRP) provides comprehensive supports to students in recovery from alcohol and/or other drugs. Through TCNJ’s Collegiate Recovery Program we offer Lion’s House, RECreate Your Night, and counseling services.
