Free Head and Neck Cancer Screening

HEAD AND NECK CANCER
This type of cancer can occur in the nasal passages, mouth, throat, or voice box. There are thousands of new cases of head and neck cancer each year, many of which can be cured. The best chance for a cure is when the cancer is found early.
THE WARNING SIGNS
Frequent nose bleeds; ongoing nasal congestion; persistent sore or growth in mouth or throat; constant earaches; lasting change invoice; bloody phlegm lasting several days; lump in neck lasting more than two weeks; or problems swallowing.
• Ten-minute exam by Nurse Practitioners at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to look for signs of head and neck cancer.
• Resources will be provided on smoking cessation and nutrition.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
• Adults who smoke, drink, or spend a lot of time in the sun.
• Adults who notice any of the warning signs of head and neck canc
